Does this sound like you?

✓ Dream you could focus on your special interests even when capitalism keeps capitalizing?

✓ Dream you could say what you mean and mean what you say?

✓ Dream you could make life feel less like a chore and more like a conscious decision?

✓ Dream you could build relationships with people who show up for you just as much as you show up for them?

IF SO, COUNSELING COULD BE THE KEY TO REALIZING THESE DREAMS!

i do my best work with three types of individuals

o1

CREATIVES

These are the individuals who devote a part of themselves to a craft.

  • Some creators I’ve worked with in the past include activists, actors, artists, artisans, authors, graphic designers, illustrators, interior designers, journalists, models, musicians, and social media influencers. No matter the discipline, creatives are incredibly content driven, striving for the perfect results. My hope, through therapy, is to shine some light on the more process-driven aspects of living life. That way we can slow and redirect that perfectionism into avenues that better serve you.

o2

CAREGIVERS

These are the individuals who care for others in need of assistance.

  • Whether it’s paid labor or unpaid labor, full-time or part-time, long-term or short-term, caregivers are tasked with great demands. These responsibilities might also include caring for an individual who requires atypical and/or medically-involved assistance. My hope, through therapy, is to offer a safe space to unpack even the biggest emotions and sort through the unique experience of taking care of someone else while also caring for yourself.

o3

THE COURAGEOUS

These are the individuals who have survived events that demanded too much of them.

  • Whether your trauma has resulted in post-traumatic stress, disordered eating, dissociative episodes, a cluttered environment, depression, anxiety, grief, or any combination of these, I’m here to sit beside you as we stare the too much right in its proverbial face. My hope, through therapy, is to consistently demonstrate that any journey becomes easier to travel once you’re no longer traveling alone.

FAQs

  • My fee is $250 per 50 minute session.

My practice is a self-pay private practice, which means I do not accept insurance. However, I do offer equity pricing. These reduced prices reflect the fact that there are different economic realities. Click on the next two questions to learn more.

  • Yes! In alignment with my values to support as many folx as possible, I have a set number of session spots, using a tiered equity pricing model. Equity pricing is based on a wide range of factors (income is only one of them). Please reach out to learn more.

    Current Pricing Tiers:

    $250, $200, or $150 per session.

Please inquire about pricing at or below $100 per session, as availability varies.

  • The short answer is no. The long-ish answer is insurance companies mandate a diagnosis, oversee your health records, and may seek access to your information while in therapy. If I were to take insurance, then our therapy would be directly overseen by your insurance company. They may even decide how many sessions are covered regardless of what you’re going through or if you need more support. By my practice remaining a self-pay private practice, I am able to maintain a high level of quality care that benefits us both.

  • My practice is 100% online. I provide individual teletherapy for adults ages 18+ via HIPPA compliant platform so that we can see and speak to each other in a safe and secure environment. I can conduct therapy with anyone who is residing in the states of New York or Connecticut at the time of our sessions. From Montauk to Greenwich to Niagara Falls or anywhere in between, we can work together!

  • If you need to cancel our appointment, I ask that you try and give me at least 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full fee for the session. I will make exceptions for emergency circumstances. If I have any open session times, I will always do my best to try and reschedule you within the same work week, but this is not always possible.

The why: Because of the specificity of my work my practice is frequently 100% full. Because of this, each session is reserved for you and the day and time is yours and yours alone. More than 24 hours gives me enough time to schedule other individuals and/or offer a drop-in spot to someone waiting to be seen. This timeline policy honors the time reserved for you as well as assures I am able to support the most number of people in my practice.
